A fresh take on a love story with two gay leads not solely around a white couple? Heck yes. However, Nick (Philemon Chambers) was the token diverse character. We understand that the story primarily took place in an extremely white New Hampshire, but there was a very, literal, stark contrast here.

While we applaud Netflix for finally having a gay holiday film, this could have been done a bit more thoughtfully.
